Just wrapped a couple of videos for the stunning and talented Myah J. You may be familiar with her and her skills from our last video we shot HERE. She’s gearing up for a serious 2013 and will be impacting the music world in a major way as well as the world of film. A beast on the mic and very easy on the eyes, Myah J is creating a lane of her own as evident in her single I’m Myah J. With a remix with Lil’ Wayne coming through the pipeline, she’s ready to make some serious noise.
Videos for “Turn Up” and “Camera Rolling” are coming soon but until then check out these photos from our shoot.

PHOTOS: Lexxi – Album Cover + Promo Shoot

Before we get into anymore of this post, go ahead and hit the play button on the player below to get a taste of this phenomenal artist. Think of it as a soundtrack as you read and scroll the photos.
I’d like to introduce you to an amazing artist I’ve had the pleasure of recently working with, Lexxi.
Interesting story: I met Lexxi at Kat’s Cafe in Atlanta, one of the best spots for gems of talent who are emerging from the city, and was taken aback by her amazing stage show. I had been commissioned to actually take photos of another artist who had been scheduled to perform. As we all know, things happen, communication breakdowns, and the artist I was suppose to capture was a no show. I was ready to call the night a wash and walk out. However, the vibe and energy in the building was too electric for me to leave. The experience was magnetic once Lexxi took the stage and I became glued to my seat. I knew I was there for a reason. Fate stepped through the door and introduced me to the sounds of Lexxi. Instant fan. Sultry voice, yet powerful. Clearly Rhythm & Blues, but infused with a shot of Reggae with a pinch of Hip Hop influence. Yep, I was hooked. Plus she reps the ‘D’.
Anyway, a few months pass and I have the great pleasure of capturing her for some promo and album cover shoot. I guess it’s true what they say about everything happens for a reason.
Check out some of the photos…

A few photos captured with my iPhone. It’s nothing like characters you find on public transit. Shout out to MARTA…ha!
This lady actually harassed me and called me out of my name repeatedly. Couldn’t really tell if she was mentally ill, just lonely and wanted to talk to people as she engaged in a conversation with the young man partially shown in the photo, or just a bitter old lady. Anyhow, I had to capture her.

I constantly hear people complain about the direction present-day music has taken in many aspects to it’s explicit content and extremely mature themes. Needless to say, these folks are not yet hip to T.A.G. Representing St. Louis, Leak Jacob and Buddiee Lovee are quickly acquiring a solid fan base nationwide based on their youtube following and dominating showcases across the country they’re featured in. Their style is definitely “hip hop smoothed out on the R&B tip” and is reminiscent of earlier groups whose music was laced with fun anecdotes and simply enjoying life for what it is.
The duo were recently in the ‘A’ and I had the pleasure of shooting a video for their fan favorite song Look In Your Eyes. Of course I snapped some photos in the process. Video coming soon, but until then, check out these shots…

Shout out to Kasey of KMo Global and Red Room Studioz!
