Because of today’s date (3/13), I have appropriately deemed today Detroit Day, after it’s main area code of the area. It’s a celebration of the city I still and will forever regard as “home”. Detroit is undeniably one of the most culturally, historically richest cities in the world when it comes to innovation, the arts, industry, and business. I encourage all to do a little research on the city and follow the hashtag #DetroitDay on twitter and instagram as myself and others will be posting throughout the day.

Sometimes the coolest clients can be someone close to you. I present Exhibit A: Wendy Storm. Wendy has been my sister for over two decades now and although we’re in different cities, it’s always a joyful experience when we’re able to link and catch up with each other. A natural in front of the camera, Wendy and I hooked up for a few promo shots she’ll be using for various press. Here’s a little bit of what we captured.

She’s Baaaaaack! That’s right, the star of ‘R’ Is For Ryleigh – a celebration - has returned with her new documentary-style film ‘R’ Is For Ryleigh – a celebration – |The Sequel. Celebrating her second birthday, Ryleigh brought the whole crew (of family and friends) out to witness this extravaganza. She posed for pictures, opened gifts, and showed everyone a wonderful time. The event is definitely one for the history books.

As the colonial capital of the Province of Georgia in 1733 and later the first capital of Georgia, the rich history of the city of Savannah is extensive. I’ve heard how beautiful the city was so decided to surprise my wife with a weekend getaway for her birthday. I had my cameras in tow, but decided to not even break them out too often…just didn’t feel like it…that would feel too much like ‘working’. *shrug*
Anyhow, I did break out the trusty iPhone 4S to capture a small taste of what this beautiful city has to offer. Here’s some of the flicks:
